As the holiday season is among us, let me start off by saying I hope everyone enjoys their holidays and the intrinsic shopping madness that comes along with it. Consider me one of those late shoppers who goes out during those desperate hours just before Christmas when even the most dignified of citizens who have upheld the law their entire life will tear and shred others' eye sockets just to purchase a card with some insipid punchline.
"When the chips are down...these 'civilized' people...they'll eat each other" So whether you're like me or not, "Happy Holidays" for starters.
With that out of the way, let me begin by at least introducing myself before I so abruptly cut away to something a little more tasteless and irrelevant. My pseudonym is Wiyam and it's an inside joke (or "pun", if you will) of my real name, which I presume isn't really all that hard to guess.
What would inspire me to start a blog to mindlessly ramble on about movies, video games, and other entertainment venues? Well, just that. I'm a complainer. It's the kind of person I am and by golly, it's who I am proud to be. Would I consider myself in the ranks of people like the Nostalgia Critic or the Nerd? Not at all, but it's not about trying to rip off other people's ideas and success.

It's currently a phenomenon that has been imitated by more than anyone can count. Why? Because it's a fun pastime and who else wouldn't want their two minutes of fame by torturing themselves with the worst abominations of all time and letting the whole word laugh at their expense? Get it? It's COMEDY.
So relax. I'm not an imitator but I'm also not trying to blend in with the rest (an imitator imitator). I just love to rant and I love to go off on tantrums with the slight chance that someone will actually agree.
